Thanx Roger. I have downloaded every flac file Dinosaurs' show on the archive. This is clearly a top five. Kudos to Jac from Tuscon for the sharp ears. A crystal sounding inspired performance. Many highlights.
Papa John Creach replaced Cippolina and has since gone. Sadly, Merle passed this last year. I saw Barry play 3 months ago and he still lays it down. I am strict with all bands for five stars. Very rare and here you are. I am playing I Can't Dance>Level with Me and Ruby on my radio show this week. Peace

I mostly download modern jambands (New Monsoon, Yonder Mountain String Band, etc.) from this site, but I was looking around and came across the Dinosaurs, some 2000's Jefferson Starship, and some great John Cipollina shows, all of which I am going to download. This show is proof that "nostalgia" doesn't have to mean "perfunctory" or "boring." These "dinosaurs" from some of the '60's SF greatest bands are found here still making great music two decades later. Sadly, Spencer Dryden (the drummer here, and the drummer during the Airplane's "classic" line-up) passed away a year ago, and Cipollina left us in '89. So, finding this is a real treasure! Thanks to any and all involved!
Peace and love,
Jac in Tucson
